Jannicke Øien - the wilderness guide
Jannicke Øien works as a wilderness guide and often directs her gaze toward high mountain peaks with spectacular views.
Jannicke is an experienced mountain climber who has conquered high peaks both in Norway and abroad. Additionally, she is an active triathlete, training to compete in ironman events. During the autumn, Jannicke heads up to the high mountains for grouse hunting which is the highlight of her year.
Restless and driven to explore, Jannicke packs her backpack light and spends more nights under the open sky than in tents. For her, the proximity to nature, the simple life, and pushing her physical limits make being outdoors incredibly exciting.
