Their story does not begin on the ice, but in a childhood filled with long days spent outdoors with nature as their playground. Kathinka, Norway’s first female internationally certified polar guide (IPGA), has devoted her life to extreme landscapes. Emma grew up in the same terrain - and with this expedition, she has taken her next step onto the world’s most isolated continent. This lecture is about more than an expedition. It is a tribute to life outdoors, to curiosity, family bonds, risk — and to what happens when two generations set themselves a goal that demands everything.
