Expedition Pants 2.0 M's
Robust and durable shell pants developed for high mountains and cold expeditions. At the same time, they are versatile enough to be used in forest, at sea, or around the cabin. The pants are windproof, water-repellent, and provides excellent protection against the elements. A soft, comfortable fabric with four-way stretch ensures great freedom of movement while producing very little noise. Perfect when you want to stay close to nature. The Norwegian Polar Institute selected the Brynje Expedition shell for its staff in 2020.
Fit & Size
- Fit: The pants are designed for men and have a slim fit.
- Sizing: The pants are true to size. Keep in mind that you need room for multiple layers underneath on colder days.
- Size guide: Focus on waist measurements. Height is less important – our garments are generally long enough.
Product Features
The pants have been developed and thoroughly tested in collaboration with experienced polar guides, resulting in many well-thought-out and functional details:
- Soft fabric with four-way stretch provides excellent freedom of movement and is very quiet.
- Water-repellent with 20,000 mm water column. Treated with Schoeller 3XDRY impregnation for enhanced water resistance and efficient moisture transport.
- Water-repellent zippers with additional storm flap on the inside.
- Two-way Vislon zipper at the front with a storm flap.
- Ventilation along the legs with full-length four-way zippers on the outside. An external storm flap with Velcro along the entire leg provides extra protection against the elements.
- Adjustable waist with Velcro.
- Reinforced with Kevlar fabric at the knees and inner ankles for increased durability.
- Pockets:
- Two pockets at the upper part of the pants
- Two large pockets on the front of the thighs
- Internal knee pockets for knee pads (not included)
- Easy access when nature calls: Open side zippers and keep suspenders on.
- Windproof
- Taped seams
- Wash at 30 °C on delicate cycle. Do not turn garment inside out. Close all zippers. Do not tumble dry.
