Expedition Jacket Pro 2.0 M's
Robust and highly durable shell jacket, specifically designed for police, fire services, rescue teams, and other demanding professions. The jacket is developed for high mountains and cold expeditions, but is still versatile enough to be used year-round, whether in the forest, at sea, or around the cabin. The jacket is windproof, water-repellent, and provides excellent protection against the elements. A soft, comfortable fabric with four-way stretch ensures great freedom of movement while producing very little noise. Perfect when you want to stay close to nature. The Norwegian Polar Institute selected the Brynje Expedition shell for its staff in 2020.
Fit & Size
- Fit: The jacket is designed for men with a slim fit.
- Sizing: The jacket is true to size. Remember that you need room for multiple layers underneath on colder days.
- Size guide: Focus on chest and waist measurements. Height is less important – our garments are generally long enough.
Product Features
The jacket has been developed and thoroughly tested in collaboration with experienced polar guides, resulting in many well-thought-out and functional details:
- Velcro on both upper arms and chest
- Rank tab on the shoulders
- Attachment loops for radio communication on the shoulders
- Soft fabric with four-way stretch provides excellent freedom of movement and is very quiet.
- Water-repellent with 20,000 mm water column. Treated with Schoeller 3XDRY impregnation for enhanced water resistance and efficient moisture transport.
- Water-repellent zippers with additional storm flap on the inside.
- Good ventilation options to release excess heat:
- Full-length, two-way zipper in front. Can be opened together with the Velcro closure.
- Two-way zippers under the arms.
- Ventilation through pocket openings.
- Pockets:
- Two chest pockets
- Two large lower front pockets
- One small pocket on the left arm
- Two large internal front pockets for storing water bottles, etc. These are made from lightweight mesh to ensure optimal ventilation
- Windproof
- Taped seams
- Hood: Large, helmet-compatible hood with attachment option for a fur trim. Four adjustment points, one-hand tightening, and a wired stiffened brim.
- Adjustable cuffs with Velcro and attachment option for mittens.
- Detatchable crotch storm strap.
- Wash at 30 °C on delicate cycle. Do not turn garment inside out. Close all zippers. Do not tumble dry.
