We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team member who is passionate about sales, the outdoors, and creating great customer experiences. This is a part-time position (approx. 50%) that includes weekend work, with the possibility of more hours during peak seasons. With us, you will meet customers who share the same passion for nature and quality as we do – and your role will be to ensure they enjoy a truly unique experience in our store.

As a sales associate at Brynje Brandstore, you’ll have responsibility, freedom, and a variety of tasks. We are looking for a colleague who takes initiative, recognizes what needs to be done both in busy and quieter periods, and who contributes to a positive atmosphere for both customers and coworkers.

You:
  • have a commitment to sales and good customer experiences
  • work independently, take responsibility and ownership of the store'
  • contribute to maintaining a high standard
  • are proactive, have great work capacity and are able to see work tasks
  • are outgoing, love people and understand the customer's needs
  • are reliable, honest, loyal and flexible
  • are structured and accurate
  • have experience and genuine interest in outdoor activities, clothing and hiking equipment.

Central work tasks
  • Sales and customer advice.
  • Receive goods and pricing.
  • Contribute to ensuring that the store always appears tidy and inviting.
  • Ensure security in the store and take responsibility for the store's assets.
  • Participate in the implementation of activities and events in the store and at trade fairs.
  • Support the store manager and contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Be a good ambassador for the store and Brynje of Norway.
  • It is a requirement that you can and will work on weekends, holiday periods and during periods of high activity.
