Wash of Super Thermo mesh
Super Thermo mesh garments are extremely durable. If you follow our advice, they will last for many, many years.
Dry, air, and reuse
Super Thermo mesh and Super Micro mesh do not need to be washed very often. Dry the garments after use, hang them to air, and wear them again. Good for both your wallet and the environment! Machine washing uses both water and energy.
Although the garments can often be aired out instead of being washed, they do need to be washed occasionally. Washing is important for durability, as sweat contains salts that gradually weaken the fibers over time.
Washing instructions
Wash Super Thermo and Super Micro mesh in the washing machine together with other synthetic garments.
- Temperature: Max. 40°C. Washing above 40°C is not recommended as it wears down the fibers. Washing at very high temperatures/boiling can cause the fibers to melt.
- Use an eco-friendly (Nordic Swan Ecolabel) detergent that does not contain enzymes or bleach.
- Do not wash mesh garments together with items such as bras or gaiters. Metal hooks can catch on the mesh and cause large holes.
- No Brynje products require fabric softener. Fabric softener is an unnecessary expense and releases chemicals into the environment.
- Do not overload the washing machine.
- Use a high spin cycle.
- Do not tumble dry. Hang the garments to dry. They dry very quickly compared to cotton and wool.
