Her first long journey took her across the Greenland Ice Sheet. Later, she was chosen to represent Norway on a South Pole expedition. And since then Marthe has covered over 800 km in the Northwest Passage, on Svalbard, Jostedalsbreen, Hardangervidda and Finnmarksvidda.
Deeply committed to protecting the remnants of pristine nature, Marthe advocates against unnecessary environmental intrusions driven by financial gain. By sharing her adventures and making conscious consumer choices, she aims to inspire others to see the joy and excitement that untouched wilderness has to offer. It is in these raw, natural encounters that she feels most alive.
