Expedition Anorak
The genuine Norwegian anorak feel! Brynje’s Anorak is built for high mountains and cold trips - robust, durable, and reliable - yet versatile enough for year-round use, from forest to open sea, or quiet moments outside a cabin. The anorak is windproof and water-repellent, offering excellent protection against the elements. The soft, comfortable fabric with four-way stretch provides great freedom of movement, while remaining quiet in use. Perfect when you want to stay close to nature.
Fit & Sizing
- Fit: Regular, unisex.
- Size: The anorak runs large, so if you prefer a less roomy fit, consider sizing down. Women who use jacket M should choose S or XS.
- Size guide: Focus on chest and waist circumference. Height is less important - our garments are usually long enough.
Product features
The anorak has been developed and thoroughly tested in collaboration with experienced polar guides, resulting in a range of smart, functional details:
- Soft fabric with four-way stretch provides excellent freedom of movement and is very quiet.
- Water-repellent with a 20,000 mm water column. Treated with Schoeller 3XDRY impregnation for enhanced water resistance and efficient moisture transport.
- Water-repellent zippers. All water-repellent zippers have an additional inner storm flap.
- Good ventilation options to release excess heat:
- Full-length two-way zipper down the left side (this one is not water-resistant)
- Two-way zipper under the right arm
- Zipper at the neck
- Opening pockets (large chest pocket, two large lower front pockets)
- Windproof
- Taped seams
- Hood: Large, helmet-compatible hood with attachment option for a fur trim. Four adjustment points, one-hand tightening, and a wired stiffened brim.
- Adjustable cuffs with Velcro and attachment option for mittens.
- Detachable crotch storm strap.
- Wash at 30 °C on delicate cycle. Do not turn garment inside out. Close all zippers. Do not tumble dry.
