6 hours of shows, lectures, inspiration, music, knowledge, surprises, entertainment, awards and competitions. We will learn, laugh, cry and cheer together. We will mingle and meet old and new hiking friends. A rare evening for all adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts! And then we will choose the Adventurer of the Year 2024! The goal of the Adventurer of the Year honorary award is to help realize large and small hiking projects, recognize one or more people who have been on the biggest adventure of their lives - and who have challenged themselves in nature.

Stands: You will meet Brynje, Fjellpulken, Real Turmat, Åsnes and many other of Norway's leading equipment suppliers!

Sneak peek at the program

Over the course of six hours, we will take you on an evening full of surprises, stories and adventures. Just like in nature, you never quite know what to expect - and that's exactly how we like it.

Liv Arnesen

- The world's first woman to go solo to the South Pole the year after Erling Kagge. It is now 30 years since this "moon landing" and we tell the stories and show the films that have never been shown!

Hege Victoria Dypdalsbakk

- Hege Victoria Dypdalsbakk has just returned from Antarctica where she set a record as Norway's fastest woman to the South Pole! After 24 years in the defense and police, Hege Victoria wanted to inspire more women to set goals and not be afraid to take risks. She also had another goal: To reach the South Pole before her friend Marianne dies of cancer - and raise money for cancer research. Read more

We also get to meet the other Norwegian polar explorers from 2024/25, including Karen Kyllesø who has just become Norway's youngest to the South Pole.

Inge Meløy

- All of Norway's "unknown adventurer" - with Seven Summits + North Pole + South Pole. 30 years of adventures in silence, but on Eventyraften he opens up about the life that has been, the life that is - and the trips with incurable cancer.

Unarmed to the South Pole

- Lars Ebbesen and Odd Harald Hauge about the groundbreaking adventure with Cato Zahl Pedersen's expedition to the South Pole - an adventure with madness, humor and funny stories.

Veronica Skotnes

- The mysterious young girl who only sails north of the Arctic Circle. Lives with the sea, nature and the local. Now the young skipper and author takes the stage at Eventyraften.

Håvard Tjora

- What on earth is a math teacher doing on Eventyraften?!? Take it easy, he's not going to take us into the classroom, but on the contrary out to sea. Where the encounter with the comfort zone takes a toll on his own courage.

The Air Ambulance

- What do you do when an accident happens? A rescuer's perspective on the moments we'd rather not experience.

Anita Eriksen

- The primatologist who gets a rash from sitting still and who loves to communicate about human evolution - and has spent an entire field season running after urinating chimpanzees in Tanzania.

Eirik Hansen

- The bold adventurer who explores and discovers new worlds using a river kayak as a means of transportation.

Morten Rostrup

- From expedition life and Everest 1996 to Doctors Without Borders. A unique insight into a rare adventurer, with a passion to contribute.

The Ski Museum

- Anecdotes and stories from the "pollar explorers' garbage heap". The Ski Museum's Åslaug Midtdal takes us on a hectic, humorous and fascinating journey through the history of skiing.

Safari

- Crazy, playful and inviting. He has taken Norway by storm and is now an ambassador for the Year of Outdoor Life!

And much more...

What on earth is Norway's largest organ doing at the Adventure Night?! Who will play on it? And will it be an adventure?! And we're going to pull a huge prank on the Adventure Night - who do you think will be fooled? And which famous artist will show up? Who will win great prizes and the main prize from SeilNorge worth 50,000 kroner? Who will eat the most sausages from the Petter Uteligger Foundation? And who will show up as surprises? And who will win the after-party at Røverstaden? And last but not least - WHO WILL BE THE ADVENTURER OF THE YEAR AND THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR?
