5 Year Guarantee
Brynje offers a 5-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. If the product has defects caused by manufacturing issues, it will be repaired or replaced where possible. Please contact us by email to have your case assessed.
- Damage not covered by the warranty can be repaired for a fee.
- If the damage cannot be repaired, Brynje will replace the product with a new one. By doing so, you agree that Brynje may recycle the damaged product.
- If the product has been discontinued, you can choose a replacement of equivalent value. Please note that the original price of the damaged product may differ from current prices in the online store, as new versions may have been released.
The warranty covers:
- Fabric manufacturing defects.
- Manufacturing defects in seams.
- Manufacturing defects in zippers and fasteners.
- Disproportionally large shrinkage of products rendering them unusable.
- Delamination of the membrane (the glue between the outer fabric and the membrane detaching).
- Tape that comes loose on shell clothing.
- Faults in the membrane of shell clothing.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear such as pilling, tearing/chafing from external factors, or natural degradation of colors and materials. Pilling does not reduce the garment's performance.
- Damage caused by accidents, negligence, or improper use.
- Incorrect washing that does not follow the washing instructions on the product.
- Poor maintenance.
- Shrinkage less than 10 percent of the product's original size.
- Worn-out products, regardless of age.
Vask produktet før du sender det til Brynje
Produkter som sendes til oss for reparasjon eller som garantisak skal være nyvasket. Hvis produktet ikke er vasket i henhold til våre anvisninger, forbeholder vi oss retten til å fakturere 400 kr for vask.
Brynje godkjenner garantisaker
Alle garantisaker må avklares med Brynje før de kan godkjennes. Så snart det foreligger en godkjent garantisak, vil produktet bli erstattet av Brynje. En individuell bedømming av blant annet produktets tilstand og alder er avgjørende for erstatningens størrelse.
