5 Year Guarantee
Brynje's quality products are designed to last. Our 5-year guarantee on manufacturing and material defects applies to all our products. We repair garments where feasible, or replace them with new. Contact us by e-mail for an assessment of your product.
- If we consider the faulty product irreparable, we will replace it with a new one and recycle the damaged product
- If the product has been discontinued, you will be offered the choice of a product at an equivalent price. The original price of your product may differ from current prices on our website, as we frequently update our collections
- Faults and defects not covered by our guarantee can be repaired at a cost through our repair service
Our guarantee covers:
- Fabric manufacturing defects
- Production defects on seams
- Zip and zip puller manufacturing defects
- Shrinkage to the point of rendering a garment unusable
- Delamination of the membrane (where the bond between the outer fabric and the membrane loosens) on hardshell products
- Taping that comes loose on the casing of hardshell products
- Defective hydrophilic membrane on hardshell products
Our guarantee does not cover:
Normal wear and tear such as pilling; fabric tears, damage due to friction caused by external factors, fading of garment colour, or natural ageing of materials. (We do not consider pilling to impair product performance)
Accidental damage, lack of reasonable care or improper use
Damage caused by failure to follow washing instructions
Poor maintenance of product
Shrinkages of less than 10% of the original size of the garment
Worn out products, regardless of age
Wash before returning item(s)
Products should be washed before they are returned to us. If the garment has not been washed in accordance with Brynje's requirements, we reserve the right to invoice NOK 250 for washing.
All requests must be approved by Brynje. Each case will be assessed individually, and we will make decisions about the level of compensation based on the condition and age of each garment. As soon as we have approved your request, we will repair or replace the product.
